Brooke turns 4!

My sweet little miss Brooke turned four this past week! Time sure flies. She was born at 12:25 pm on Jan. 25 and weighed 9 lb 4 oz. My smallest baby :) She is super sweet to those she chooses to be, and to the others...she will give you the cold shoulder. She loves to help around the house and her favorite thing is dusting or mopping, anything with a damp rag. Her favorite color is pink, she loves princesses, and knows just what to do to make her baby brother happy. She loves to play with Corey in his crib when he wakes up...she puts toys in there and they play together. Corey never wants to get out when she does that. She is often the first to give hugs and kisses and is very tender-hearted. However, she knows how to give you that glare, and hold a grudge when she doesn't get her way. She loves to dance and sing constantly, do puzzles and color.

She wanted a princess castle for her birthday. I had a lot of fun making it and trying to figure out how to use fondant and design it. She was pretty happy with it.

While waiting for grandparents to show up for the party Brooke got her groove on dancing to music while Casey and dad played catch.

The decorations pictured a couples of pictures up were made with tissue paper. Brooke thought they were pinnatas. She was disappointed when I told her they weren't. Casey heard this and when right to work making her a pinnata for her birthday. He made a butterfly pinnata, complete with a head, body, and wings, filled with candy. I was actually super impressed. It held up really well, seriously as well as a store bought pinnata.

They had a lot of fun hitting it.

When the candy broke out Corey made a run for the sucker.
