1 Year Old!

Corey turned 1 year old on November 4! He came into this world at 3:30 am weighing 9 lb 9 oz. Now he is a healthy 25 lb toddler :) He learned to crawl at 11 months and cruises around everywhere. He can balance standing up for short periods of time. He is a big eater, and can often out-eat his siblings.

Here he is having the icing beaters before his party. He loved them.

We had family over for dinner and dessert to celebrate the big day. Then the kids helped show him how to open presents.

He had a Mickey Mouse birthday party...
He wasn't so sure about the candle...lucky for him his siblings blew it out.

We gave him an ear to eat (aka cupcake). There was no hesitation. He picked up the whole things and dug in. He devoured that entire thing...and in record time.

How can you resist that smile and those big eyes?! We love our little man! His siblings love him so much...they still ask to hold him, even though he wants to just crawl. His newest thing is to make a grunting noise everytime he sees an animal. He is a tender-hearted little boy. If you even nicely tell him "no" he breaks down into a cry and lays his head down on whatever is closest. He cried when he first touched snow, he wasn't sure what to think of it. We love him to pieces and are so glad he's in our family.
