Day 3 - Disneyland!

After telling our kids for weeks that we were going to Disneyland, they were disapointed that when we got to California we really weren't going to Disneyland for a few days. So needless to say they were excited to finally be going to the actual Disneyland! So I brought Brooke's Cinderella dress to wear there. When she put it on she did not like all the sparkles that would get on her arms from the dress. She wanted the dress off because of this reason. I kept brushing the sparkles off in hopes that she would wear the dress. We got her to keep it on but periodically throughout the day we would have to brush sparkles off!

Our official picture in front of the Castle. They had a lot of the park done up for Halloween...hence the pumpkins.

One of Brooke's most favorite rides...the Merry-go-round. Her first ride in Disneyland.
Definetly not Casey's most favorite ride, but he liked it enough to want to go.

The Alice in Wonderland tea cup ride. Brooke giggled so hard on this ride. She Loved it. We made sure to go on it again later that week.

Casey got a drivers licence and drove this car with his dad. Casey was steering.

The infamous It's a Small World boat ride:

The rollercoaster that we all went on in Mickeytown...

We went through Mickey's house and got to meet him. Casey went right up to him and gave him a hug. I was surprised how eager he was to see him :) Brooke was a little more shy.

Below: Splash Mountain...getting ready for departure. Miss Brooke met the 40 in. height requirement that is standard for most rides. So for many rides she went with us, but that doesn't mean she enjoyed all of them. This one however she did love and went on it more than once.

We went once and Peter sat in front and got drenched. Casey loved the ride so much that he went a second time right after us with our friends. Peter said to me that I bet he will sit in front...and he did! That is pretty darn brave, even I don't want to sit in front. When he came off the ride this is how wet he looked. And sure enough he was proud to say he sat in front.

If you ask Casey what his favorite ride is, it is by far Splash Mountain!
