Day 2 - Seaworld

The next day we packed our hoagies and uncrustables and drove to San Diego for SeaWorld. Looking back this was one of my most favorite days...it was a little less hectic than Disneyland yet sooo much fun. The weather was perfect and there was not a lot of people. And there was plenty to see and ride. First thing we did was head over to the killer whale show.

It was so much fun to watch and see how they perform their tricks. Casey couldn't believe how big they were. We were sitting in the "splash zone" but did not get wet. Casey was pretty dissapointed about that.

Brooke saw this ocotopus and it was squirting bubbles. She squeled and wanted to go see it...oreo and all!
Lisa and Nate, and Brooke and I on the first ride of the trip. Casey and Kye were riding one together.

Another thing I loved about Seaworld is it had this huge play area for kids. Part of it had this net to walk through...Brooke couldn't manage on her own so daddy went with her. So cute! They had lots of unique play things for kids...some I wanted to try out!

The underwater tunnel to see the shark and ocean life. That was pretty cool.

Casey and Brooke were riding the high life in their stroller limosines. It worked out nice even if Casey did look a little big ;)

On our way home we stopped by and saw the beautiful San Diego Temple. It is gorgeous. It is the perfect location...your driving along and round a ben and it pops out at you. There were some people there that obviously looked like they weren't LDS but said that they saw it when they turned the corner and had to stop and look at the magnificent building. How awesome a sight.
