This year we decided to go to Payson for Thanksgiving. Even though it was our off year we had a feeling Peter's parents would be on their 3rd mission next Thanksgiving so we decided to spend this year with them. We are sure glad we did, because a month later the announcement came that they will be serving a 3rd mission! We got their early Thursday morning. It was a beautiful day to play outside! Plenty to do at the farm:
Basketball...
paintballing
football
Corey watching Grandma make her famous orange rolls...they are oh so delicious
playing for hours in the hay barn
cousin time
Brooke taking a turn with the paintball gun. The boys (adult boys) set up a pretty awesome paintball field using old cars, tractors, barrels, etc.
Who knew a game of Mexican train could be so funny?! No we are not crying.
We stayed the night and the next day spent the morning making fondants for chocolates. Good times! Oh..and dinner was yummy and amazing as always!
Below: Casey was a narrator for a short skit his reading group put on for their class. He did such a good job!
