Makayla and Brielle:
This is the swing Corey literally lived on the entire 3 days. It was mostly with his cousin Michael who is the same age.
We built boats out of cardboard and duct tape. Each family built their own. It was pretty hilarious!
Michael and Corey:
Testing out our boats: (it's name was the Minion)
The duct taped sucked and was peeling off...needless to say our boat was letting water in fast :)
Mannings: there boat did pretty well! They didn't use much duct tape which ended up being the key
Loveless'
We built bottle rockets. The dad's had just as much fun as the kids:
Rocket's name: The Flying Minion
Waiting to launch rockets!
It was such an enjoyable weekend. It couldn't have turned out any better! One crazy thing to note: Peter had been waiting for a call from Tooele for an interview with their EMS department. Well reception was very hit and miss here. Well he had missed like 4 calls from them. So he tried to call them back and couldn't get a hold of anyone. After calling Travis who works there we finally were waiting for the guy to call us back to schedule. So we get an extension cord (because Peter's phone was almost dead) and he puts it in the one spot that got service. Well low and behold he misses the call AGAIN. Finally he gets a hold of him and got the last interview spot! Whew, that was close. So here's to that next adventure!
