January: Brooke and Brielle's 9th and 4th Birthday Party, Record Snow Fall, Brooke's science fair project, Date night shooting range

For young women's we went and watched a few of our girls in a school performance.

I went to check on Corey one night and he had his bumble bee pillow wrapped around his head.  So cute.

John, who Peter works with was moving.  He was kind enough to give us his piano.  Now we have two and I'm so excited about it! I've been dreaming of the day we would own two pianos and be able to play duets on them!

Corey came upstairs and said, "mom, these pants are kind of to small on me." I laughed! He had put Brielle's pants on and had no idea!

Look who's 4! This fiesty cute girl was so excited for her birthday.  She picked out her cake and she only wanted coloring stuff for her birthday.  Go figure! Brielle is a good talker, loves to draw and color, loves to play with your hand and call it her baby, loves the ipad, loves gold fish, doesn't each much, loves to be carried, loves books, and is picky about her clothes! She loves singing As a Child of God and calls it the Earth song.  We love her to pieces!

Brooke is 9! Seriously when did she grow up so fast! Love our sweet Brooke.  She had a friend birthday party this year and wanted to go bowling.  And she won bowling! She was stoked.  She had a bunch of cute little friends.  Brooke is the sweetest nicest most honest girl on this planet.  She wants everything to be perfect and just so and wants to make everyone happy and feel good.  We love her smile.  She loves gymnastics and is a rock star on the piano. She loves roller blading and ice skating, and got roller blades for her birthday.
She requested chocolate chip pancakes for her birthday breakfast.

We have gotten incredible amounts of snowfall.  Like record amounts.  We got probably 5 ft of snow in a matter of a week.  It snowed buckets and buckets.  School was canceled twice because of it.  Christmas Break ended on the first Monday in January.  We went back to school Tuesday, Wednesday they tried catching the bus but school was delayed 2 hours because of snow and the bus still didn't come on time.  School was then canceled the rest of the week and then once more in January.  We had fun playing out in the fresh snow building snowmen, digging tunnels, going around with sleds and four-wheelers on the roads, and just lots of shoveling and snow blowing.   Grandpa Call secured us a snow blower this year.  What good timing to have a snow blower.  This was the year! It was used almost every day this winter it felt like!

Don't let this picture decieve you. They are in the trampoline hole, which is mostly filled in with snow.  The snow behind them is not the edge of the house...that is how tall the snow is that they need to climb on to get out.  Our retention wall in between us and Stewart's was completely covered.  The snow covered all of our tree trunks. I was honestly afraid of losing Brielle in the snow, because if she jumped in it would cover her.

When I woke up to work out and realized there was no way I could even back out of my driveway I headed over the the girls homes and together we shoveled people's driveways for an hour for our workout at 5:30 am. This was a picture of my walk around the block.

We celebrated these two's birthdays together for a family party.  They each picked out their own cake.  It was fun!

Date Night: We went to the shooting range with our husbands and then out to eat at Denny's for dessert.  It was a fun night out and we all shot some and then let our husbands go at it.

Brooke's cute friends at her bowling party:

Brooke wanted to do a science fair project.  So Aunt Stacy gave us an idea to test the temperatures of soda after insulating them with different material.  Fun little project!

The morning of Brielle's Birthday and she got to open presents first thing:
