Baby Emmett

Nathan called Peter or I several times over a 24 hour period.  Paige was having lots of contractions but was sent home from her doctor, and than later from the hospital.  She couldn't bear it any longer and went back up to the hospital to admit herself a few hours later.  And it was a good thing!  That next morning she had baby Emmett.  Funny story.  So last we heard the hospital was considering sending Paige home.  She did come home for a few hours before going back up but we didn't know that.  Well Peter was on shift and had a call at 6 am and was at the hospital.  He texted Nathan half joking to see if he had his baby, and Nathan and Paige had literally just had their baby!  So Peter snuck in and was the first to see Emmett, just born.  Peter made sure to rub it in everyone's face, especially my mom's that he was there first.

That following Sunday they came home and Peter fixed them spaghetti that we brought them over for dinner.
