This year for the Call Camping Trip we booked a couple camp sites in Bear Lake near Minnetonka Cave. The first thing we did was head up to the cave. Casey and Brooke were thrilled with the cave. Corey kept saying how he loved it and he was hopping and skipping all through it, (until the way back when he was tired and Uncle Nathan carried him out). Brooke on the other hand was scared to death. She had a firm grip on either mine or Peter's hand the entire time, and she kept reminding me how she didn't like it and wanted to go back. She was nervous I believe for bats. Brielle and Annalyn were both in backpacks. Peter and Jeremy were standing by each other and Anna would reach over and put her finger in Brielle's mouth. They both thought it was hilarious until Brielle started biting hard and then it wasn't funny anymore...but it still kinda was ;)
My mom and Paige didn't go in the cave with us (Nathan, my dad and Stacy and Jeremy and Anna and Conner did), because my mom's knee hurt and Paige was pretty prego and didn't want to go up and down all those stairs. I don't blame her! We came back from the cave and had a wonderful night eating and talking and eating. The next morning we ate again and packed up quickly to get a spot on the beach. It was raspberry days in Bear Lake so we knew it would be packed and it was! We got a good spot though and spent the entire afternoon at the beach. It was heavenly!
