My first plants in my yard were these tulips. It was like Christmas every day watching them come up and bloom. I love spring and yards and flowers!

I Love Love Love that my kids can go behind our house in the field, or in front of grandma's house in the field and fly kites. It's my favorite. It screams country, and dreams, and being a kid.

Brielle's preschool went to the firestation. Peter was going to be there for the tour but life likes curve balls and it threw one our way in April. Peter herniated his back while at work moving a patient onto a hospital bed from the cot. He ended up not being able to move and since he was already in the ER he was able to check himself in and I met him up there. He had an MRI done and after many drugs we came home. He had to take work off for a few months but was able to go on light duty after a few weeks. He was in a lot of therapy. He is back on full duty now but is still working on being back to feeling 100%. It's a slow process.

Easter! The kids loved dying Easter eggs and rolling them down Old Main Hill.
So funny story. I had this brilliant idea that it would be fun to try a swing dancing class as a group date. We went to dinner with two other couples but only one of the couples woud try the dancing with us, the other couple went on a four wheeler ride and rubbed it in our faces. The swing dancing class was, well, interesting to say the least. Fun to try, but never again! We got home before our other friends on the four wheeler ride so on a whim we decided to be a bit crazy and toilet paper their house. It was a blast I must admit! haha. Living on the edge ;)
Easter Egg Hunt and Dinner at Tamis with all the cousins was so much fun!
We stopped at Maverik in SLC and saw this truck...so hilarous! We also hiked Ensign Peak. We all loved the hike except Corey. The wind was blowing and he was terrified. I think he thought he would blow right off the mountain. Poor kid just wanted to turn around and head back. Afterward we headed to a park downtown for some lunch before heading to Payson for the Easter Party.
Stephanie and I took the kids to get slurpies one day, go geocaching, and go on a short hike to a geocache. We took the scenic drive home through paradise. It was a fun afternoon!
Baby Animal Days! The kids loved it. On top of the farm animals they were able to see Bears and hold mini toads, ride trains and horses, hold bunnies and chicks, mine for gold. So much fun!
Corey wrote a story! I was so impressed!

The men were taking over kitchen duty and it was awesome!
Growing up Peter's family would have contests to see who could eat the most swedish pancakes conference morning. We started that tradition and my kids look forward to it every 6 months! They can't wait! Here they are stuffing themselves more than they should!
