A little bit later we headed over the Grandma and Grandpa's for an amazing breakfast. Always a favorite that everyone looks forward to.
After breakfast and opening more presents the kids headed outside to our white Christmas. We had no snow until Christmas morning so it was perfect! The boys and their guns. Casey LOVED his new BB gun and couldn't believe Santa actually gave him one. He was shooting lots on Christmas, challenging everyone to come out! Peter got that sweet beenie from his Captain, he was pretty excited about it. It was a patriots beenie, how thoughtful!
Christmas Eve we had a live nativity to enjoy, and Peter was even able to get 2 hours off work to come eat dinner with us and enjoy the evening. I was stoked and so were the kids! We had a live baby too!
Trying to teach Brielle to smile and look up didn't go as planned, she sure tried though!
The kids said they were having the best Christmas ever. I admit it was pretty fun. Christmas Eve day was spent with making lots of goodies and each of the kids had a special role. Brooke make these platters out of mints that we melted. Corey made the oreo balls that we dipped by putting the oreos in the blender. Casey made the white chocolate covered popcorn and pretzel and sprinkle and m&m mix. It was fun!
A Christmas Day nap was in order:
Brielle had to put makeup on everyone. She toted her little makeup kit around all day. It was so cute!
Corey loved trying out Brooke's new skates, and Brooke was really cute to help him out.
Next was Brielle:
That night we were able to skype Justin. Always fun to see a missionary! He comes home in 2 months! We can't wait!
This is what I was doing Christmas break: painting.
Brielle loved to pretend to sleep on the wood floor boxes.
I must admit we have had some fun nights working together on the house. Installing the wood floor has been a highlight. All the kids can help and they loved it. Even Corey could probably install your next hardwood floor!Grandma gave this little diva and her sister these cute dance wraps. So fun!
Even Casey had to try them on...
