In no particular order here is our Christmas Season!
Below is a progression of photos taken on Christmas Day, trying to get 4 grandkids to sit and smile in one picture...
... Nearly...

...Impossible

Christmas Eve: trying to get a picture of all 49 people in the Nielson Family in one photo frame-nearly impossible! We had an amazing Christmas season. We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Nielson's (pictured below). After a wonderful and spiritual program the grandkids were given their gifts. Grandma had made cowboy outfits for all the boys and ballerina outfits for all the girls. Grandpa made jewelry boxes for the older girls.

Christmas afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Call's. Corey just couldn't believe his eyes: Santa had come!

For the first time since we've been married we spent Christmas morning at our own home. It was so much fun having Santa come and visit! Our kids had fun and Peter and I enjoyed every minute of it. Below Casey and Brooke are checking out their Christmas presents.

We visited Temple Square during the Holiday Season. We brought the kids to see the Christus and the model of the temple that they have displayed in the visitors center. Of course they enjoyed the lights, but really all they wanted to do was go back to the hotel and play in the pool, which had like a water park for kids in the middle of it. We had a blast and will definetly be going back!

Waiting patiently for the rest of the group at the visitors center...and just wanting to go swimming really :)

Before we went to temple square we all went bowling. This picture below is at the bowling lanes.

Peter building a huge snowman for Casey and Brooke. The mid-section was so big that as you can see he had to use a board as a ramp to get it up...I forgot to take a picture of the final product!

First snowfall. I LOVE how you can see the snowflakes...it lookes so peaceful. I love those peaceful nights when it is snowing and you have nowhere to go and you all decide to throw on snow clothes and go play outside and shovel the driveway...I know shoveling the driveway doesn't sound fun, but there are those magical nights when it's snowing just right and shoveling is just an excuse to get out in the night and have fun!
